“ Daily Tour ”
Yıldız Park, which was a forest area during the Byzantine period, was used as a part of the imperial garden of Yıldız Palace during the Ottoman period. The park, which extends down the slopes of the palace and is surrounded by walls, was built by Sultan II. During the reign of Abdulhamid, it was reserved only for palace residents.
Starting from the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, sultans used this place as hunting grounds. In later periods, it remained as a grove.
The first mansion in Yıldız Park was built by Sultan III. Yıldız Pavilion, which was built by Selim in memory of his mother. The park got its name from here.
Yıldız Park and Grove, located in a location overlooking the Bosphorus below the Yıldız Palace on the backs of the Beşiktaş district, is one of the most impressive, peaceful and frequently visited parks in Istanbul. It offers breakfast and dining opportunities in Malta and Çadır Pavilions. The park, which is one of the most beautiful parks in Istanbul, consists of beautiful pools, waterfalls and ponds, as well as fascinating gardens and trees.
